Our tasks

The BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment Executive Body determines the strategic orientation of the quality management, defines the quality policy, sets quality targets and issues rules for their implementation. The executive body Quality Management Co-ordination (QMC) structures and supports all activities within the scope of accreditation of test procedures in BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment laboratories according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and within the scope of certification in the whole institute according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2005. In addition, the implementation of standard specifications and internal regulations in the institute is coordinated.
